CDF3-PAP Insulated-Head Welding Pins – Box of 1000

CDF3-PAP cupped-head steel welding pins are supplied in boxes of 1000 for fixing suitable insulation to sheet-metal ductwork.

Selection and installation guide

• The Isover U Protect rectangular-duct system guidance specifies steel welding pins with a minimum 2.7mm shank and spring-steel washers at least 30mm in diameter.
• Select a pin slightly longer than the insulation thickness—approximately insulation thickness plus 3mm.
• For the slab system, position pins no more than 260mm apart and within 80mm of slab joints and duct edges.
• No pins are normally required through the top slab of a horizontal rectangular duct.
• Quantity depends on duct width, height, orientation and length; use the U Protect ancillary guide before ordering.
