CE-Marked Fire Damper

This CE-marked fire damper features a folding curtain-type blade design. Standard construction uses galvanized steel, with the option for grade 430 stainless steel. It supports 120-minute ‘E’ rated installations for masonry walls, drywall partitions, and concrete floors.

  • Normal Operation
    Under normal conditions, the blade pack is recessed in the damper header and held by a fusible link, allowing unrestricted airflow through the duct.
  • Fire Response
    When temperatures exceed 72°C, the fusible link melts, releasing the blade pack. Springs then fully extend the blades to close the duct
  • Application
    Series 100 fire dampers are integral to building compartmentalization, a strategy to contain fires within specific zones, thereby saving lives, limiting building damage, and aiding firefighting efforts. Similar to fire doors, these dampers ensure normal airflow but close off ducts to prevent fire spread when necessary.
