Spiral pigtail insulation screws manufactured from 1.6mm galvanised sprung-steel wire. Supplied in packs of 100; choose 120, 160, 180 or 200mm length.
Selection and installation guide
- The Isover slab-system guidance requires corner screws approximately twice the insulation thickness.
- As a simple length guide: 120mm suits approximately 60mm insulation; 160mm suits 80mm; 180mm suits 90mm; and 200mm suits 100mm.
- Corner fixings are installed at maximum 260mm centres.
- Certified ETA details should be followed exactly. Tested FireProtect screw combinations include 100mm with 50mm slab, 140mm with 70mm slab and 180mm with 90mm slab.
Important system note: These are general pigtail insulation fixings and are not described as branded Isover FireProtect screws. Do not present them as a certified substitute without written confirmation from the system manufacturer or project fire engineer.
